Recommendations & Tips
Before we arrive. Very little is needed from our customers before we arrive. We ask that you remove fragile items from the area being cleaned. Our technicians will handle the light furniture. We also recommend that the carpet is vacuumed prior to our arrival. This allows our technician to focus on what your vacuum won't remove.
After we leave. Although our truck mounted machinery pulls most of the moisture out of your upholstery and carpet, it may still seem damp to the touch. The use of fans and lowering your a/c temperature will speed up the drying time. (Please refer to #5 on our FAQ page.) Our technicians may have used styrofoam blocks under the furniture legs. If so, leave them until carpet is dry to the touch. This will avoid color transfer or damage to your carpet.
Between cleanings.
- Carpet should be vacuumed often (2-3 times a week)
- Using mats or removing shoes at the front door will also extend the life of your carpet.
- We recommend hydrogen peroxide be used on any spots that are organic. For others, some vinegar on a rag, or some DAN DAN SPOTTER can be used.
- If you use over the counter products, be sure to put them on a rag and NOT directly onto the carpet.
